Join Subtidal Adventures with a guest researcher for a fun-filled trip by zodiac boat in Barkley Sound. We will  introduce you to local marine mammals and involve you in identifying individual whales and their habits. Tour length 2.5 - 3 hours. Parks Canada - Wild Pacific Trail

Join the Parks Canada Outreach team at the lighthouse along the Wild Pacific Trail to learn more about Southern Resident Killer Whales, Grey whales, and more.  

Note that there will be 30 - 45 minutes of special kids programming at 12:30 and 2:30 as well as whale cookie decorating for all kids, sponsored by Gray Whale Deli in Ucluelet.

And, of course, you may be able to see whale spouts as they pass by these shores in their annual migration.  Bring your binoculars and grab a bench.  Then watch the show.

This will be a whale festival button event and buttons will be available on site.
